Our vision to create an enterprising community at Waterbeach which will provide a flexible mix of employment hubs, workshops and offices for new and existing businesses to grow. 

Throughout the community will be space dedicated to business, providing facilities for the makers and creators, options for who want to work in a shared space and a wide range of shops and leisure spaces that will create hundreds of jobs. 

Waterbeach New Town East also benefits from its proximity to key employment sites such as the Cambridge Research Park, which is located to the North West of the site across the A10. 

The Research Park, Cambridge Science Park and the new employment areas at North East Cambridge will be readily accessible either by bicycle or public transport. 

Residents of Waterbeach will also be able to easily reach Addenbrookes and the Biomedical Campus by rail once the Cambridge South Station is open. 

Existing bus routes will also be re-routed to connect Waterbeach not only with the employment centres in the local area, but also with those elsewhere in Cambridge.
